Australia has been one of the teams that are always one to watch, but never good enough to be considered as one of the ones to watch out for. They have a decent squad, and they have a decent reputation, but their team does not seem to fulfill their potential at the world cup finals somehow.
For a team that is considered one of the best in the eastern hemisphere, their record at the FIFA world cup finals is paltry, to say the least. They have the same number of appearances as their group-stage compatriots in Tunisia, having qualified for the FIFA world cup finals a total of 6 times out of a possible 22. Every appearance at the world cup has seen them get eliminated at the group stage, bar once when they managed to reach the round of 16. They have won the Asian cup once, which was back in 2015 when they hosted the tournament.
Australia Team FIFA World Cup Kit
The revolution that has been seen in kits will only continue, as fans from around the globe like kits that are good-looking and want to wear them to different places like pubs and cafes and when they want to have a kick about with their friends. Nike is the kit manufacturer for Australia, and, the emblem of the Australian FA is on the opposite side of the Nike logo, and this is the case for both sets of jerseys.
The Australian national team has two kits as is a common theme among the countries participating in the world cup. The two kits are quite in contrast to each other, the first kit being gold and green in combination, which has been synonymous with Australia for a while now, whereas the second kit is two very different shades of mixed green and blue, one being light and the other being quite dark.
The golden kit has a subtle spray-like texture which makes it seem as if it was painted with a spray can, although not the best, it does come off as unique in its appearance when considered in conjunction with the green used in the logo and emblem as well as on the sleeves.
The blue-green kit is unique because those two colours have not been used often together, especially on a stage as big as the world cup. It will surely divide opinion, some will love it, some will hate it, but in my personal opinion, I like the kit a lot as they blend quite well.
