Ecuador will be appearing at the world cup proper for the fourth time in Qatar in 2022. They haven’t had a rich history in the world cup, as they have missed out on participation in 18 previous editions of the FIFA world cup out of the possible 22. This year, they will hope to make a good account of themselves in a group where they know they can make a claim of getting through to the knockouts.
Should they qualify for the knockout phase, this will be only the second time they will have done so; the previous attempt was back in 2006 in Germany. They do not have talent that is well known across the globe like their neighbours in Colombia and brazil, but they have a squad that can attempt to compete on the global stage, and that’s precisely what they will be aiming for.
Ecuador team FIFA World Cup Kits
Their kits are manufactured by marathon, so it is understandable that the global brands may not sign with them for the kit deal, as they do not have the appeal that makes them attractive everywhere. The revolution that has been seen in kits will only continue, as fans from around the globe like kits that are good-looking and want to wear them to different places like pubs and cafes and when they want to have a kick about with their friends.
Their kits are surreal to some extent, which is what makes them stylish and appealing to the eye. They do not have excess work done on them, and it is precisely what makes them sit so well with the general public. Unlike other teams, they have three different kits, and every single one of them is amazing.
The yellow kit represents the yellow of the flag, and along with the blue colour being used in spaces, it is extremely well built and designed without throwing too many unnecessary details. The blue kit, on the other hand represents the blue of the flag and has a texture in between the threads which add another layer of depth to the jersey. The white kit is arguably the best kit of them all and is one of my favourites as the snowy white colour along with the subtle usage of blue across the kit is what makes it feel marvellous, there may be areas where it can be improved, but in no way is this a bad design.
