Germany is one of the most successful teams in international football, with a total of 4 FIFA World cup titles to their name, second only to Brazil. With 20 qualifications to the world cup proper out of a possible 22, having won it four times, they have managed to reach the final on another four occasions. They exited the last world cup with the winner’s curse still intact, as they dropped out on the group stage. With Qatar in sight with a revamp of the national setup, they will hope to do things differently.
Their record is quite good at the Euros as well, with 3 European championship wins to their name, although their last win came back in 1996. Like with the world cup, they have managed to reach the finals on another three occasions, on top of their three final wins.
Germany Team FIFA World Cup Kits
Adidas is the kit manufacturer for Germany, and the emblem of the German FA is on the opposite side of the Adidas logo, and this is the case for both sets of jerseys. They head into the tournament with two of their most well-known kits. The white and black combination put together so subtly, their first kit. The red and black combination kit was put together, experimenting with previous versions and personifying their creative nature.
Their first kit, the primary kit of black and white, is quite pleasing to the eye. The singular black stripe is across the middle of the kit. The emblem, along with its four stars as well as the logo in the centre, appears inside the black stripe. The black colour is also used along the sleeves as well as the shoulder as highlights. One of the more subtle and appealing things about this kit is that Die Mannschaft has been written on the inside of the collar along the back area.
The second kit is predominantly red with black as the second layer gelling and mixes` well. Gold is used for the highlights on the shoulder. But black is repeated along the sleeves in conjunction with the first kit. In this kit, the emblem and logo are on the chest instead of the centre.
