The Welsh national football team hasn’t experienced much success or competition on the international stage, let alone the FIFA World Cup. They have always been in the shadows of their English neighbours, and so has been the case of their domestic league.
Wales has only ever qualified for the FIFA world cup once before this, and it was back in 1958 when Sweden hosted the world cup. Their run to qualify for Qatar 2022 saw them win 6 of their ten games in qualifying, drawing three and losing just once. Their appearances in euros aren’t impressive either, as they only made their maiden appearance in 2016 but did manage to qualify in 2020 as well.
Wales Team FIFA World Cup Kit
The revolution that has been seen in kits will only continue, as fans from around the globe like kits that are good-looking and want to wear them to different places like pubs and cafes and when they want to have a kick about with their friends. Adidas is the kit manufacturer for Wales, and the emblem of the Welsh FA is on the opposite side of the Nike logo, and this is the case for both sets of jerseys.
Wales, like England, like to wear jerseys as somewhat fashionably, as they like the design of the good and great kits from the present and the past. And they have two kits, that they will be using when they travel to Qatar. One kit dominates the red that symbolises the national flag, whereas the white kit is in contrast to the red and leaves a peaceful calm to the general mass and those wearing it.
The red kit is dominated by the colour but has a diagonal texture running across the kit, with the white colour being used as highlights across the shoulder. The shorts are predominantly white, with red as the highlight colour for the emblem and the logo.
The white kit is far more impressive in my view, as there aren’t many white kits which look this good and feel so good to look at. The use of green and red highlights on the top and the sides adds subtlety and depth to the kit, along with the design of the collar that stands out every time the kit is viewed. The kit is a symbolic representation of the flag’s colour and gives a sense of pride to the players wearing it.
